I woke up this morning to finding my backyard covered with frost and news that Saddam had been taken into custody by US arm forces. I would have bet my pay check that he was dead.
What do you all think, is the fact that he is alive good news or bad news?
Well i really dont know what to say, I figured he was alive... that the dude they found was not him... And i heard that news today at a chat... Someone brought it up, and then this big discussion happened... They all had different opinions about it and they all got unto each others nerves.. ones were saying that we had no right in killing him and who knows what... and some were saying he deserved to die, then one replied, well if he deserves to die, so do bush for allowing all these wars... That America was in the middle of all these wars and stuff... and i beleive the dude that was discussing this was american, not sure if he was on Saddams side.. or just anti-war...
So really, to me that was a real complicated subject... I guess it just leaves a bad after taste no matter who's/what's side ur on...
But it was news to me today, hadnt heard a thing about it.
Who would know it. Normally, we have the news on except, we were out most of the day. We didn't hear about it until late in the afternoon when we were on our way home. I figured he was still alive hanging out with the other moron. I am still in shock he got caught. I thought he would blow his brains out before giving up. What a coward asking not to shoot him but, didn't hestitate to tell others to blow themselves up.

What I was wondering was whether his capture will decrease or increase the bombings and other killings being committed by his followers?
Will they become more bold now that they know he is alive or will they see him as a failure for not fighting to the death as he had asked his followers to do?
I read that they had captured him on Saturday and waited to announce it Sunday because they were waiting on his DNA results. They wanted to make sure they had the right person.
This is a big victory for GW Bush, but I don't know what kind of victory it is for our soldiers in Iraq. I hope it discourages Saddam's followers and the number of dead or maimed US soldiers ends.
I don't think the bombing has continued because of Saddam. I feel SOME Iraquies just hate Americans whether they are there to help or not. Hopefully when they find out their own leader won't die for their land the bombings will stop. So I hope.

I have one thing to say: Those Democrats like Howard Dean need to shove the antiwar crap up their a$$. Democrats need to learn a little something from Republicans. If Al Gore would have won could you imagine all the wrong decisions that would have been made?
All I want to say is... may the Lord take care of what needs to be taken care of whatever it may be... and God bless our soldiers and protect them as well as their family...
NoOneReally,
