Hold on there. The only thing republicans have done is say "we're" going to war and that's the end of that. "we???" I don't see how they can use "we" when it's mostly sons/daughters of not well to do families that are doing the real battle and for republicans to take credit for the high number of murdered soldiers....... Think about that one.
For one thing when it's time for the draft, republicans have the right to say not my son or daughter let somebody else die for my kids because we republicans can only talk the talk but when it's time to get down and dirty and go into the battlefield.........

So lets not give so much credit to republicans instead we should praise and give ALL credit to the soldiers who are willing to risjk their lives so that republicans can continue not sending their sons/daughters to get their hands dirty.

Yes you are right beatrice. I agree with you. For example Bush, did he ever go to war, no instead he join the cheerleading squad when he was in his college years. He's dad is a republican so Georgie didn't have to go to war. This is a good example.
God Bless the Troops for doing a great job.

I don't think it matters whether you're a Rebublican or Democrat...

"Candidates avoided making Vietnam an issue during the Presidential race of 2000. Bush and Al Gore, who served in Vietnam as an Army journalist, had a sort of unwritten understanding that their military service during the Vietnam war would not be a subject of campaign debate. Both had been accused of using their fathers' influence to avoid combat in the war. Gore's father was a senator, Bush's father was a Congressman."
