OK, I am going to take a HUGE chance by posting names on this BB. As I have stated in my previous postings, we have several employees from Eagle Pass. One particular employee has asked for my help in using the NET to locate his missing children. I am hoping that all you knowledgeable EPians will bear with this long posting and save $$ on hiring a PI.

Some history you may or may not be interested in - this employee last saw his kids in IA in 2000, just before he started working for us. At that time, his "X" met "Mr. Wonderful" who aided in having the phone number disconnected and moved the family to location unknown. Through relatives, located them in IA in 2002 by phone, but then moved to TX to avoid contact. All mail, cards, and gifts have been returned as well.

Please understand, this father has done nothing wrong (no abuse, pays support on time, nice guy, etc.). His daughter turns 15 this year and he would like to re-establish relationships and celebrate her Quinceanera this year among countless other reasons to find them. An IA attorney wants retainer of $5,000 to start contempt proceedings! OUCH!

OK, here goes:

Mother's name: Myra Carreon (1st married name Esquivel) (2nd married name Salazar) I don't
know which she is using now
Children: Arturo Fernando Esquivel - Age 12, Ida Esquivel - Age 14

Thanks in advance for any help you can give! Since all has been spilled on the BB, either email or posting is fine.

I would have him contact the family court. I am not a lawyer by any means, and thank God never experienced this.

If he is paying child support can't he trace where this money is being withdrawn from (city)? Like I said I have no experience.

The family court has been contacted. In IA, you have to hire an attorney and file an "application to modify" and also file charges for contempt of court. Each attorney contacted wants at least $5,000 down. He is a single father of three girls and doesn't have that kind of money in the bank.

As far as conversations with the child support office, they have made it clear they are only concerned with the money end of it. The whereabouts of the kids is confidential. The only correspondence has to be done THROUGH the CS office. Not fair, but the way it is.

My hopes are that someone will have kids in school with these kids or know where they are since they are originally from EP and one of the forwarding addresses linked her to being back in town. Thanks, Mena, for your thoughts, though. You guys are just about our last hope!

hmmm, I'll start asking around and see what I come up with. I'll keep the root cause a secret though. I have plenty of connections in the shool district, if they're here, we'll find them.

I am not in EP and these names don't sound familiar, sorry. All I can do is make suggestions. Isn't there like a public records site you can check? Maybe if she is a registered voter you can track her down. How about contacting the church he pertains to?

Hi Krissy, :)
My name is Veronica...and I was reading your posting. I went to www.phonenumber.com and came across several Myra Salazar here in Texas... Then I tried Myra Carreon in Iowa and several Carreon came out, but none where Myra Carreon. Another site that you can try is www.switchboard.com. Anyways, they're good sites. If you play around with it a little bit, it might give you good results. You probably know about them, I thought I'd let you know...

Good luck with your search, its a good thing what you're doing.

Veronica,

Thanks so much for your advice! I don't want to sound too degrading by letting you know that we have even purchased the deluxe search option from USSearch. However, after a year ago, she has been untracible. But thank you for your consideration. (I think it has become more difficult without a phone number)

Just to let everyone know, the last forwarding address (4/1/03) lists her at 664 Concho St. in Eagle Pass. I really appreciate everyone's help thus far! :)

Eagle,

Thanks for keeping this topic current! :) I just have to keep reminding myself that it is all about the kids. I have the feeling that since nobody has spotted them in school or otherwise that they have once again moved on. It is so sad. They haven't seen any of their relatives (grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins) for a long, long time. This is truly a loving, caring family wanting desperately to reunite with the kids!

I thank EP Online and everyone else for all the updates and such! :)

Hey, I still have one employee that hasn't returned to MN yet . . . anyone know the Aguileras? I know, there are probably 100s in EP! Just wondering if he's in jail, or what!

Kris,

If the last known address u have is on concho and the kids ages r 12 & 14 that means they are or should be attending eagle pass junior high on the old loop. so the grandma would be carreon? i know a care provider by the lastname of carreon.i'll find out if she has any such daughter with that name.

As far as the aguilera dood,,, i know several,, freddy, robert, frank. let me know if its one of them.

Eagle,

I found out some more info - The grandmother is divorced, either goes by Carreon or Perez. The uncle works in the school district (I think teaches) - Norman Carreon. And yes, the kids are 12 & 14.

I got a call last week from Texas Child Support - a local worker in EP - he said he just spoke to her about garnishing his federal tax refund, which leads me to believe they are somewhere in EP or area.

I hope we're getting closer! BTW, the Aguilera that works for us is José. He has a few sisters (really pretty) and a brother or two. His dad is a carpenter, I think.

ONE MORE THING . . .

I am so sorry about dominating this forum, but I found out some MORE information - Grandma's first name is Josefina. The kids have three aunts: Nora in Dallas, Sandra in IA, Christina who is probably still at home (EP) and may still be in school or recently graduated. All aunts have been contacted and claim to not know anything about anybody -imagine that!

My frustration level is rising . . . . . Further, Grandma had her phone disconnected as well, at the request of the kids' mother, of course.
