Thanks for the update. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I just hope they'll get their act together and resume construction on the hotel.

I just saw a news release on the Lakes website that the contract has been terminated as of Nov. 10th. The release is dated Nov. 15th. So what is the deal now? The casino is still open, isn't it? When my wife went last month, she and her relatives had a really good time, and are hoping to go again this next weekend. Is a new company going to be managing it, or is the tribe going to manage it? What about the improvements, like the hotel? This could be a really great place to go, like Coushatta in Louisiana, and much closer for a lot of people, like for us here in Corpus. Anybody got any info?

So what exactly will the tribe be constructing? Are they still planning on building that 400 room hotel?

that is cheap for consulting services from an outfit like lakes. and 30% of profits over 12mil/ is do able. if they sent down some people and put them on payroll, they blew it. ep has people who can do it. lucky eagle has to worry more about getting into compliance instead of a 400 room hotel. there are guidlines that nigc requires indian casinos to follow. lucky eagle doesn't want to follow them. a professional mgmnt company tried to show them.
