As expected, the state of Texas passed prop. 2 defining marriage between man and a woman.
And the people of Maverick county overwhelmingly approved of the ammendment with 70% of the Mav. county vote being Yes. I guess this shows that EP consists of mostly conservative democrats.

There are two main wings in the Democratic party. There's the dominant Liberal wing, and then there's the moderate/conservative wing of the Dem party.
Most people in EP are indeed Democrats, but they are mostly in the moderate/conservative wing of the party. The reason why a lot of conservative Dems in EP stay Dems is mostly because of economics.
But on social issues, most Eagle Passans are conservative, due mainly to the influence of the Catholic Church. And it's 50/50 on the support of the Iraq war in EP. But many people here are getting fed up with the Democratic party's stances on issues such as abortion and gay marriage and are becoming either independents or Republicans.

I think you have to ask Mena or Boxrocks to delete posts.

Energy is right. Give it a shot so you can try and if you still can't do it still let me know.
