It's gotta be VY. This guy brings so much to the table. His leadershipskills and his athleticism are what makes him so great. His scrambling abilities alone would eliminate half the sacks the Texans O-Line gave up, with an immobile David Carr not help matters either.
And I'm not sure Bush could withstand carrying the ball 25-30 times a ball game and lasting the entire season. At USC, he got far fewer touches. We'll see what happens.

Okay so Vince Young can run the ball pretty well. College and Pros are two different beasts. In the NFL, the the defensive linemen, linebackers and secondary are quicker, faster etc. than in college. Yeah he might have a 10+ yard run every now and then but if he wants to be a top QB he needs to work on his arm. Every sports show I watch criticizes him on that one thing. You can't say "oh well who cares if he doesn't throw as much as long as he can run the ball." Look at Michal Vick. Probably one of the best scramblers there is. A lot of the teams they faced this year had his number even before the game started (i.e. they game they played in Chicago not too long ago, the last game of the season against Carolina). So what happened? Their running game got shut out so they had to depend on his arm. It was then a lot of people realized hey, maybe this guy isn't as good as we once thought. I mean yeah Vick has a great game every now and then but in the few good games he had this season, he was able to run the ball for a couple of big gains then throw some nice passes when everybody thought he was going to run again. Whenever he couldn't run and he had to pass the rest of the way, the games didn't exactly turn out in his favor. If I'm not mistaken, he had less than a handful of games where he passed for more than 250 yards and one game (maybe two, I'm not sure I'm too lazy to look up his stats at the moment) where he passed for more than 300 yards.

Getting back to the original question, you have to go with Bush, its obvious. I know they have Davis in the backfield but they can also have that one-two punch Dallas has with Julius Jones and Marion Barber III. Carr is an okay QB in my eyes. You can stick in Young if you want but with Houston's O-line, he'll be looking up at the stadium lights just as much as Carr. Don't go saying Carr is a bad QB because he's not. He real good except his line doesn't give him the time he needs to go through his progressions. Houston has the highest paid offensive line and some of them couldn't guard if their life depended on it. Carr is going to be fine just as soon as Kubiak fixes the mess on the offensive line and so will Vince Young...in New Orleans.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Vince Young is that he can't throw the ball. Well, this is totally false. I know he has a funny delivery, but all that matters is whether he gets the ball where it needs to go. VY had the HIGHEST completion % this year in college football. That's higher than Matt Leinert, Jay Cutler, or any other guy coming out this year. VY's passing stats are as follows: He was 212 of 325 for 3036 yards, with a 65.2 completion %. Plus he had a 26 TD passes and only 10 picks. And the scary thing is that VY got pulled out real early in some of their blowout victories, so those stats could be a lot higher than they are. I have seen him play his entire career at UT, and he has really blossomed into an outstanding passer.

David Carr does have a gun for an arm. the boy can throw. vy is a heck of an athelete just as m vick, but the falcons are still missing something. i do know if vy goes to the texans, they probably sellout every game.

So for those that haven't heard, the Texans just gave David Carr a pretty nice contract extension. The following is from the Fox Sports website:

HOUSTON (AP) - Quarterback David Carr agreed to a contract extension with the Houston Texans on Friday, an indication the team might use its No. 1 overall pick in the draft to select Heisman Trophy running back Reggie Bush.

The Texans, who announced the extension in a news release, did not provide details, but called a 2 p.m. news conference to discuss the deal.
Texas quarterback Vince Young, a Houston native, and Bush are considered the top players in the April draft. Young, the Rose Bowl MVP after leading the Longhorns to a last-minute win over USC in the national title game, would seem to be the popular pick, but the Texans apparently are happy with Carr.

The rest can be read here http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5321640

So it seems that Houston is totally comitted to him. They obviously still believe he is the franchise player to build around.

The Texan's GM Charlie Casserly is a total idiot. He should've gotten canned alongside Dom Capers. I still don't think it's over for VY to get picked by the Texans, but this recent news has casted more doubt on that. We'll see what happens.

I rather take Lyndale White over Bush, anytime. He outplayed Bush in the Rose Ball. Bush was afraidy cat in taking on the defensive plays of UT. White ran over people while Bush ran over to the sidelines.
