New Sheriff

Any one know the history of the new Sheriff?
When I was growing up Salvardor Rios' parents lived next door to us. I knew about his since them, but I have never heard of the new sheriff.
Was he with Eagle Pass PD before?
Good guy or another good old boy?

He was a municipal judge, he was also the deputy sheriff under Sheriff Tom Bowles in the 80's-early 90's

I saw some of the add campaign for Herrera had and he didn’t seem to have much love for Rios. On top of that he seems to want to make a new jail or prison. So most likely their may be changing of the guard. No pun intended.

The Zocalo Web site indicates that Salvador *** will be running a write in Candidate for Sheriff.

:angry: Well looks to me 'que aqui hay gato encerrado' okay because this old dude that supposedly won the last election for Sheriff will not turn the wheel at all. Bottom line is that 'que este señor ya no sopla' So Chavita will most likely be the new Sheriff in town para el Aguilon, okay!

hopefully everyone in town can make the right choice for the right person and not just because he's "el compadres son". we all know that something needs to be down to help eagle pass progress. WE NEED A CHANGE!! and i know that with Herrera as sheriff there will be many changes for the better. meaning new people, meaning many changes!! VOTE HERRERA!!
