I guess I'm a pretty simple girl, my fave though would be to go out on a romantic night by the water to a place not too far from Houston its called Kemah, they have a pappadeaux's restaurant candle light on the table, then a nice walk on the boardwalk, but then we feel guilty for not taking our kids!

Hey guy,
this sounds like a deal. I say do it. The kids deserve some respect and should be left to do something different. Don't jeopardise your relationship with all the Guilt Trips. Not good. Besides, the kids will not miss a thing. They could care less.
Someone here on eponline suggested this type of Guilt Trip is stronger in Hispanic/Chicano parents and that it was one reason why many kids in South Texas were never able to leave "the nest" and attend college or do something with themselves. Now I don't know if that is true or not, but the kids do deserve more independence to feel happy and free. Or something like that. Que No?

At the end of their first date, a guy takes the girl home. Emboldened by the night, the guy decides to try for the first kiss. With an air of confidence, he leans with his hand against the wall and, smiling, he says to her, "Darling, how 'bout a good night kiss?"
Horrified, she replies, "Are you mad? My parents will see us!"
Him: "Oh come on! Who's gonna see us at this hour?"

Suddenly, the light on the stairs goes on, and the girl's sister shows up in her pajamas, hair disheveled, and in a sleepy voice she says, "Dad says to go ahead and give him a kiss. Or I can do it. Or if need be, he'll come down and do it. But for crying out loud, tell him to take his hand off the intercom button!"
LOL I had heard that one before but it wasn't a good nite kiss he wanted :D

WHAT I READ YOU GUYS HAVE A BORING LIFE. WEEK-ENDS SOMETIMES HAVE TO BE FUN.
I AM SINGLE AND LIVING A LIFE. DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER, IF ITS GOING TO BE WARM WE JUST HOOK UP WITH SOME GIRLFRIENDS AND CALL EACH OTHER AND SET TO GO TO PORT A. SOMETIMES WE JUST DRIVE OUT THERE FOR THE DAY. WE WALK THE BEACH, GO HORSE BACK RIDING, OR GO ON THE GAMBLING BOAT AT PORT A. HAVE DINNER AT LANDERIES AND DRIVE BACK. WHEN WE HAVE A LONG WEEK-END WE RENT A CONDO AT PORT A. EVERYBODY TAKES FOOD, VINO, AND BEER. WE GO SHOPING, WE RENT THE RIDING CARS AT PORT A AND RIDE THEM ALL ALONG ON THE BEACH. ha!ha!ha! you dirty little mind. Let me tell you something, men or cheap and I don't mean money wise. A women has to use her head to figurer him out. Lets say here is valantines coming up, what are you going to get for him/her. Are you going to take him/her out to eat, flowers, candy, and etc. Well men would have take less then what you give him. Give him a memorable gift from you, how about learn how to give him an aorma therapy message; candle light dinner at home. if you don't want to cook order his favorit food. let that gift come from within you. We all like surprizes. use your head and figure out something.

My story is a long story. Will try to make it short. I was married for 25yrs. the kids are grown and he promise me that once the kids were grown he will retired from the military. He is in the National Guard for many years. Well I waited until my daughter graduate from college. I was still in the same boat. He became a couch potato, and still did not wanted to retired. I got fed up, since I gave all my years to be a wife, mother, Dr.,nurse, Accountant, maid, texi driver, delivery and so many things. So here I was, I wanted more, I did not wanted to be like our parents. They raise the family and that was it, the rest was to sit and waite for death. So I ask for a divorce. He did not wanted a divorce, then I told him then lets go to a marriage counslor did not wanted that either. We got a divorce, I got everything, house, half of his military retirment when he retires. He pay off the house. But we never left each other. He always comes to the house, takes me out to eat. He married two years ago, now this makes me think if he had a thing going on before. Then I said, thats ok, its my turn. We continue seeing each other. When he goes out of town to do his military, he invites me and I am over there with him for a week or two. And this is another thing that makes me think. Was he doing this with somebody else while I was married with him? but you know what, I am enjoying it. I am free to do anything and I don't have to be his maid any more. I figutre if he was doing this with her while we were married, well now I am doing to her. And this what I said about cheater what goes around comes around. Me and my x-husband have a great time when we are together. But I am no saint, I go out on dates. One thing I told my mother-in- law why are man so stupid. I was his wife and now that we are divorce he treasures me like a doll, when he knows that I can go and do anything with anybody. I sometimes go out with one of my classmates who just retire from air space engineer. That is another story to tell. WE NEVER KNOW WHERE LIFE IS GOING TO TAKE US. I now enjoy every moment,

MY FRIEND STUPID IS ONE THING, BUT WHEN ONE GET FEAD UP, WE MAKE CHANGES. BELIVE ME WHERE HE IS AT IS NOT WHERE HE WANTS TO BE. THE GRESS IS NOT GREENER LIKE THEY THINK IT IS. THAT LADY HAD BEING MARRIED 4 TIMES, HAVE 6 CHILDREN AND HAVE TWO AT HOME WHO ONE IS 18 AND THE OTHER IS 21. HE TOLD THE ONE WHO IS 21, THAT SHE EITHER PAYS HIM RENT OR LEAVE. No I never ask him. I am afraid of what his another might be. You see I am like the song, its on spanish. Now that I being by myself, I enjoy it.
Now i can do anything I want to. I can go any where, come and go as I please. You got to remember one thing, she can not do one thing for him that I haven't done. So what ever she does it no big thing for him. He tells me that he makes her cry, because he will always say, you don't cook or you don't do this or that like my x-wife and I want this done this way or that way. I want this house clean this way or that way, and if you don't like it there is the door. He also tells that to her kids. I once told him, she is in for the money. Cause if I was her I wouldn't take that kind of shit from nobody. He laughs and say, I am the boss and they suppose to do want I tell them. I just listen, because in our marriage I was the one that handle everything. He was a very quite man, no smoking, no drinking, and he never went out with his friends, because he never had frieinds. I am the one with the friends, and we did things with my friends. I am the out going person planing trips for vacations and etc. We had a joint account, I pay all the bills and did everything that has to be done on a house hold.
I feel sorry for all of them. I thing he feels anger at her cause he lost his wife and his family because of her.
He once told me he had made the biggest mistake in his life. But that he has to live with his punishment. He is now a different person. I enjoy the time we are together. Maybe because we have a long history. or maybe it could be that we still love each other but afraid to even bring it up. We still talk to each other like friends, lovers, and wife/husband. Our grown up children know that we still see each other and that he comes over to the house, sometimes I cook a big breakfast and he and the kids come over. They also know that I take off with him when he is doing reserve duty.
When I was getting the divorce my kids told me, mom, you are free now, you done your job with us, we are grown. Go and enjoy your life to the fullest. So here I am, I don't plan to get married. If I ever fine somebody I just reather live with him . I date somebody from San Diego, I travel lot with him. Last year he sent me the flight tickets to go and pass my birthday over there with him. Year before last I meet him in Las Vegas. I just receive flowers from him with a card that says, let me know when you can get away. I will sent you the airline tickets. We sometimes have to live with our mistakes, sometimes we can correct them. but we can never turn the clock back.
WOULD I LIKE TO TRADE MY FREEDOM, RIGHT NOW MY ANSWER IS NO.

He's a manipulative MF'er isn't he. No wonder the guy strayed from home, he had no life!

Like I said before, he was not a manipulative person. he was very quite. and yes, I can say he had no life. He did not hang out with buddies. Most of our live was work, school, children, and trips during the summer. But I had to do all of it. He was not the one that will say lets go here or let go there. I will come up and tell him, put in for your vacation time cause we are going here or there. but sometimes he jwould say, well I got military duty this month or that month. so i had to plan around school, military, and kids.

WE GOT ALL EXCITED AND WERE TALKING TO EVERYBODY THAT WAS GOING. SHE WORKS AT FT.SAM BASE. WELL THE FOLLOWING DAY MY HUSBAND TOLD ME I AM GOING WITH YOU. DANG! SO I HAD TO TELL MY GIRLFRIEND, SO THEN MY GIRLFRIEND BOYFRIEND FOUND OUT THAT MY HUSBAND WAS GOING, SO HE ALSO WANTED TO GO..SO THEN FROM THERE IT TOOK OFF.

WELL TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH SO DID WE. WE HAD THE SAME DREAMS, GOALS AND VALUES. WE DATED FOR 5YRS BEFORE I EVEN SAID I DO. WHY DO YOU THINK WE STAY TOGETHER THIS LONG. I can honestly say that I was miserable in my first marriage, my ex was sooo jealous that it did rob me of my identity, he was so controlling and so insecure. Why?? I dont know, didnt ever give him a reason to be that way. I was a christian he wasnt, he was an alcoholic and in the end he chose drinking to his family. In the end I would also hang out with my GF's but at the end of the night, you end up alone and I dont sleep around mejor sola que mal acompanada. I dated my husband now, for about 3 years before I was ready to get married again, and marriage is something you have to work at. I dont envy my single GF's because what they are also ultimately seeking is a committed relationship that will lead to marriage. Marriage is hard you have to work at it, if you aint doing your job, someone else will. And some men, it dont matter what you do, they stray anyway (like you said), thank god that hasnt been my problem, I can say that I am 100% happier in this marriage because my requirements were a lot longer to make another serious committment like marriage the second time around.

This is how it went down. My gf works at the VA hospital. You know how hospital workers are crazy. Anyway, it was ten of us, we suppose to meet at the VA hospital by 7pm. Not much time to go home take a quick shower and dress up. Once we were on the VA H. we were taken to this room. OUCH!!!!! we suppose to donate a pint of blood. I was ready to run out. But then I did give blood and plama for katrina. Once we finish with the blood, we were taken to this confence room. There was a spread of food. MMMMMMMMMM food of all kind, and I sure needed food after the blood they tooke from me. We were given a bach to put on our our right side. It was a heart and it said I am a scavenger hunter. They also gave us a red platic bag with red hearts on it.
We suppose to meet at tomtillos at 12mid night. We all first hit one nice quite club. Mosly suits, you know what I mean. Of course some of the girls were laughing and try to hit on some of the guys. I just lay low, I had no guits to do such a thing. We set on a table and the girls start moving around. I finish my first drink and was siting by myself. I just went to the bar and ask for another margarita. The stool was empy so I just sit there waiting for my drink. A nice young gentemal came over next to me and order a drink. He started talking to me and he look at my batch and he said you are doing the hunt. I said not really. He laugh and he open his coat a little and he also was wearing one of the batch. We started laughing. He ask me what is on our list. I show him my list, and then I ask what is in yours. He show me his list. We started laughing..he then said it seems that I have everything you need, and I smile and told me so do I. We then made a deal, lets exchange, I give you want I have and You give me what you got. Lets play the alliance. We agree. The group went to another place, and I told them I will stay behind and meet them later. We talk and drink all night. I try to be cool, cause I am not a drinker, i can only hold two margaritas. It was a nice evening....once I was at home and inside my house,,,, i laugh to my self....mmmmm i still got IT.

:) I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder and when DFW has 10 days of no sunshine I am ready to go off the deep end. I am thrilled the sun is back....too bad it's supposed to rain over the weekend again. I have planting to do:eek:

Well, if you want to call it a good week-end. I have being working on the house doing weather striping the house. Repairing and replaceing the flashing on front of the house. Repairing, calking the baywindowns and painting. I still have to replace some gutters. I being at it for a few week-ends. I can only work in the morning right before the sun hits on the front.:o I guess I should have taken Sif word on work for food:(

I can do my job with my eyes close. But what I like the most in the fall is the poor freshmans. Some will come to my office and ask me for a hall pass cus they were changeing their schedule.:p They will bring mom's note saying he or she was absent cus she/he had a Dr. appointment and they want an excuse absent.:rolleyes: They want to know what instructor is easy. Mother and father comes with their son /daughter and parents tell them what to register for. When parents don't know a thing about the classes they need to take.:D I could go forever. But it makes my day and other days I just would like to have a gun in hand:eek:

Going to the big City of Eagle Pass on Sunday and returning Monday. I am takeing my sister to Eagle Pass, she needs to go to Piedras Negras to pick up some medication for her son. I don't know if I told you that she move in with me, I am not loney anymore. Even though we haven't venture out only to concerts. :rolleyes:

These girls came in thinking they could break all the rules, do whatever they wanted and it turned out to be the complete opposite. The school had curfews, dress codes, no boy rules, you name it, it had it. To top it all off, it was expensive! I left that business to open up my own restaurant....there's a very VALID reason for my insanity!

The BIG family reunion is this weekend across the border and where do you think I'm going to be? NOT THERE!!!!!!! I'd rather be here and happy than there and madder than a wet hen. Heck, not even my mom is going and she lives in EP.
Do you like having your sister with you? I wish I had a sister. Nah! Maybe not, if I did she wouldn't be speaking to me now anyway!:rolleyes: Is she younger or older than you? Do you guys like talking to each other. My mom's sister visits her every now and then but I don't think they talk a whole lot. They kind of go through spells.

:D I know what you mean, I had my daugther in catholic private school and high school was all girls school. Little did I know that all boys private school was just across the street:o As my mother in law use to say where ever you move the cow their is always a bull:mad: But I did let my daughter have her fun, food fights of course they were punish and had to go Sat and Sun to clean all of the school includeing bathrooms. The nuns were mean and I don't blame them. Who can put up with teenage girls. All I can say about private school is that you get your money worth. Its expensive, but the school don't take any bull, and if you don't have a high GPA they will kick you out. They have very strick rules and they do not allow student to say a negative word of any kind. A student could not say "I can't do it" We use to pay $20,000 per year, she was a stright "A" student and was also attending college at night when she was a sphomore in high school. She finish UTHSC by the age of 20. My baby grew up too fast.

She is one year younger then me. We are six girls and two boys and I am the middle one. We use to enjoy getting together at my house sometimes on another sister house. We all have our ups and downs and disagreements. But most of all we all have each other when ever we need talk

I changed my major so it is taking me a little longer. The Univ. life is very different. You basically have to fend for yourself and many professors take absences very seriously. This year we are allowed 2 unexcused and then you are booted out of class. It doesn't really bother me though because I take school seriously. The money for school is coming out of our pockets so I don't mess around. It is way too expensive and unlike other universities we have to even pay for a parking sticker. Ooch.

This was about 10am...yuk. I almost teased her about it but, I just thought to myself I remember that era. No, not from me but, from friends. I probably have about 7 classes give or take. Most of them are Spanish. I changed my major so it is taking me a little longer. The Univ. life is very different. You basically have to fend for yourself and many professors take absences very seriously. This year we are allowed 2 unexcused and then you are booted out of class. It doesn't really bother me though because I take school seriously. The money for school is coming out of our pockets so I don't mess around. It is way too expensive and unlike other universities we have to even pay for a parking sticker. Ooch.
I know what you mean, I started school in 72 on and off and the class I hated the most I left it to the end, Math. Then I went into College Alg I couldn't get it so I did a stept down and took elm alg my daughter who was in high school at that time help me with it. I finish that one and was ready to hit College Alg, it was 1990 when they reactived my husband to go to Sadi. I enroll in C/Alg and the war started I drop my class cus I was glue to the TV since they show the war going on on TV. When my husband came back from Sadi, he enroll back to college. So I stop and stay behind. The years pass and I try it one more time and new laws came around about classes taken over ten years ago have to be taken again. I gave up, what the H###. And yes, when you are paying for school it make a big difference on how hard you study for your classes. I had my husband and daughter going to UTSA at the same time. Parking was $125. and that is if you could fine a parking space. Then they both transfer to Universiy of Texas Health Science Center, Parking was $150. but a trolly will go and pick them up since the parking was almost a mile away.:eek: My husband finish on Dec and daughter on May that was a few years back.
Our parking stickers run from $100-$240. I opted for the one in between so I can still walk a little but, not freeze to death when the winter gets here.
What sticker prices do the rest pay for school parking?

Susie Q, laughing all the way to the coast. Today was my big day, I gave my last truck payment. They gave me 6yrs of prison and I made it in 4yrs. I save alot in interest. Even if it rains, I am out of here. :p Have a good week-end.

Just need cups two diffreent kind for cold and hot. but will start buying gro. Like coffee, I use Folders at home, but when I travel I buy Maxwell House the one that is already comes in a round filter. Buy some can goods and start packing them and mark the box.

For cold and hot drinks use foam paper cups and save yourself the headache. You can buy a big box at Sams Club and the extras you can use for morning coffee on your way to work. You won't have to worry about keeping a dirty cup in your truck.

No gloves and later he pointed out every blister he had. We accomplished it. It did rain but not very long and while I was at my seminar. Have you ever operated a tiller? I watched him and it was hilarious. He looked like he was on one of those old fashioned exercise machines that claimed to burn fat while giving you shaken adult syndrome. Now all we have to do is plant and then pray the plantings don't die. Windows are open today. The breeze is incredible.
I've never operated a tiller. I would probably get the motion sickness syndrome.

What a trip it was! I laughed so hard. It was like watching a skeleton dance the cha-cha. My husband attacks everything he does like it's the end of the world and that's how he did the tilling. It was hard though, b/c these north Texas soils are so bad. Next week they deliver the dirt, compost, and plants. We are gearing up for a very busy couple of weeks here. Oh yeah! They're delivering the pavestone too.

It's hard but I'm very anal-retentive. Almost everything is organized to a fault. That doesn't mean we don't go out or have fun. We do. We plan it though. I should be embarassed but it's just the way I am and so is Flaco. We do all the work ourselves 'cause hiring gets way too expensive plus it doesn't always get done the way we want it done. Anyway, we will do everything over the course of 3 weeks and try to have fun doing it. We dropped chisquis off at a birthday party, went to the landscape store with our drawings/plans in hands and picked everything we wanted. We then went back to the party, sat for a couple of hours out in the back with our friends. As irenera would say Wala! a good time was had by all.
There is nothing with being organized. Hey, if you enjoy it and can save money why not. It is fun doing house stuff with the lifetime partner.
We stink at organizing stuff. We never plan anything. We just do it and hope for the best. Well most of the stuff we don't plan.

You know what they say "One proposes and God disposes or Uno pone y Dios dispone" Sometimes our plans go awry but most of the time we have a better time b/c of it. On occasion we'll let our hair down and take off and those are fun times too but when it comes to serious stuff, like the landscaping, we want the outcome to look like some planning went into it and didn't just throw it together. BTW, have you seen the book "Gardens of the Metroplex" or something like that? Maybe I should move this over to the gardening thread. :)

thanks, I did what you told me, I bought small for coffe and large for drinks. No dirty cup on my truck, I have a special cup that Mr. San Diego got me, I hold on to that cup for life. Its my work cup and traveling cup. I don't like open cups or glass, that way it wouldn't spill all over myself or truck. Don't you hate it that when you are wearing white or light color and bang, you spill what ever you are drinking on yourself. Darn it gets me so mad, I use to carry a spot off with me all the time.:mad:

I know. Flaco looked like a dancing skeleton, except he lost most of his behind with all the shaking and nothing grew!:D But we finished the tilling. I know about tile too b/c we did that earlier this year. Little chisquis knocked down the old bathroom wall. I wonder who told her she could do cheers while she was in the shower???:eek: The girl thinks she's Superwoman! We did the whole thing ourselves. One of my brothers helped and he is very very good so we have a brand new bath upstairs.

That's a great idea! We can put it under the miscellaneous section and title it "Home Improvements". It'd be cool to find out how many of us are like Tim Allen and how many of us are like Bob Villa. Plus we can find out what products work best for what projects. Right now I'm in the process of ordering a truckload of dirt and stuff for my new landscape. I've gotta break down the north Texas clay we live on!:mad: It must submit to my will!

Being hit with Married and single. But to tell you the truth I haven't being interested. I told one that I was married, then he ask me well how come your husband is not the the job. I told him because men want to do it there way, and to me the women way is the right way.
Another man, that was hitting on me, I was standing on an aisle looking for a tool I needed, he stop and ask me can I help you, and I told him what I was looking for something to cut aluminum. He show me different kind of tools and their were some scissors some big and some small. He told me the small ones are the best ones. I told him, well I think I like the bigger ones cus it will cover more when I cut and I will finish faster, he was smileing ear to ear. Then I said I don't want to spent all day long just cutting it. I like to work be done to my satisfaction, he was just about to choke when his cell ring, he started talking, it was his wife, cus he was say, hon I am still here at home depot, I will be right home. I gave him a smile and he said women, and I answer yes, we are all like that:D

No, Susie Q, I never seen that movie. G/F I am not even a good looking woman. But what I learn, is men would hit on any women, GOOD LOOKING OR NOT its for their male ego. He still got "IT" if the women accept their advances. And I can also say that most of us women also makes us feel that we still got "IT" also. Thats why I never take it serious, if they want to play the game of flrting I can go alone with it, and end it at the end of the conversation. Men are still old fashion they want to do the hunt and conquer. As women we have the power to accept or not accept. Women have the last word.
Now a days women do the hunt, and on what I see, it really is a turn off. Cus the women is all over a man, and to him, he is reading the wrong sizn and he is thinking she is easy, I am going to take her and do my thing. Ok, engery would you make her your giirlfriend or just B-call.
So with this, I don't thing a picture will do justice. A person that will get to know the real me, what I have inside, belive me I could get any man I want. A women don't have to be Miss America. Nice to know a few things about life.:D

It feels good not to be a desperate person. To have that self esteem that we can live without a man. That we can have friendships and relationship yet very independent. That we don't need a man for their financal, because we can support ourself in a fashion matter. That we can be equal to a man. And I am so glad that a non desperate man can tell the difference. I am seeing alot more single men that are staying single so does alot of the women. Career has alot to do with it and now a days men and women if they married it is when they are in their late 30s to 40s some wait to 50s and some never get married. I guess enjoying life took place of a family. But raising a family on this years, is hell.:eek:

Susie Q, with all the work I do at home, who have time to watch movies. I even took the cable and computer off 5yrs ago. I have a TV on each room and a 60in on the TV room. I just might watch a show and the news on the evening. But the week-end I like to watch cooking. I just get full with just looking at what they are cooking.:D and wala I gain 2 pounds.

Well that too, when I need a break away from everything and everybody, its time for me to dissapear. I mail out my deposit for the condo for thanksgiving yesterday. The owner told me it was $150 deposit and the rest to be pay by Oct 22. So I mail her $600. and my balance is $128.85. So I am ready for thanksgiving. Hey maybe next year we all should get together and rent a condo at Port A and get to know everybody. :D

Thats what my daughter tells me. Yet my x/h was also paying on line and somebody else was drawing from his bank, a person from OK. Then another person started using his credit card numbers and ordering things going to PA mail box. So if I need money I go direct to the bank and get some money out.:eek:
We have been doing this for about 6 years and we have never had a theft problem. I bank with BofA because they have the most offices, I think. I see exactly what gets drawn out of the account instantly.

That's who we bank with and they are good. A couple of years ago some lowlifes made off with Flaco's ATM card and went on a $4000 shopping spree. We got it all back.
Cool. We were thinking of switching but, they have been pretty good so far.
We were considering WF but, the lady who helped open my daughters acct. sent me the username and password on the same email.:eek: We quickly changed our minds because that is the worst thing they can do, especially a bank. Email is unsecured so I wrote back to let her know that what she did was not smart.

Susie Q, I am sick, and here I am at work. I should have stay home. My week-end was!!!!!!!! well let me tell you my story. Friday my son use my truck to move one of his friends, left the truck como mis patas. I told him to wash it, wash it in 3 minutes y la dego como mis patas. Sis work til noon, so I took three hrs to finish washing it. I pack, and she was going to take a mattress to I put it on the back of the truck and as soon as she got home we took of to EP. I was attack by the illegas, i mean the illegas brown butterfulies. I could no longer see through my windheld estaba pior que mis patas, then passing the check point I got stop by the statetrooper. I know I was driving fast 90, but I had slow down since it was hard to see. I had gone down to 75. the goodlooking statetropper came to my window and ask me do you know who fast you were driving and I tell no llllllllllllie and said 75 sir. :( He took my lic and insurance to radio it in, which I new I haven't had a ticket or accident in more then 15yrs. He came over to me and told me please stept out of the truck. :eek: Oh, My God, did my son did something with my trick. I look over at my sister and told her, they are going to put the brackets on me.:o He took me outside and told me he was just going to give me a warning.:rolleyes: Then he told me look under the truck, and I bin under and he pointed at my Lic plate. He told me to take that brace that is around the lic plate, cus it cover where it says Tx. Darn, he was just trying to get me for something. We took off laughing. cus my sister said, hey, you could have pay your ticket right there we had the mattress. We got to EP safely, but I had to spent another 3hrs washing the truck, the radiator was pack with them illegas/B. I had a good time at EP visting and talking and was taken to a flea market where I bought mexican candy. On the way back we got attack by the illegas again, but we decided to stop in all the fea markets to see what we could fine. I found a braclet that I being looking for the one that have all the saints on it. I was looking for melons cus at HEB have them $1.78 each one. And I knew that La Praor or Betsville I could fine them 3 or 4 for a $1. I pack them in, we had a good time took us 5 hrs. By the time I got home I had to spent another 3hrs washing the truck, flies were gettering around the truck eating the illegas gutts. So here I am sick, I guess with all that washing I done on the truck and getting wet.

Lucky you got off with a warning. That law has been around for a while.

I GAVE MYSELF AWAY. MY WEAKNESS IS ICECREAM. I CAN EAT A HALF A GAL IN ONE DAY. THAN GET SICK AS A DOG, I AM LECTOS INTOLERANCE. :( BUT I DON'T GAIN WEIGHT. I INVENTED WHAT I CALL ICECREAM DIET, ALL YOU CAN EAT ICECREAM I LOST 15 POUNDS.:rolleyes:

I LIKE HEB CHOCALATE WITH WALNUTS,BLUE BELL AND BEN AND JERRY. I PUT IT ON A CUP AND GO ROUND AND ROUND WITH THE SPOON AND EAT THE MELTED ONE. OK, Susie Q, periya is good enough for me. I don't remember my abc's on spanish to many ll's and e is i and so on. But I do laugh at my own spelling oh, well, i spell as I hear it. Jalapeno, to me is halapeno to the gringos is jalapinos. So yes I am TexMex. So what is going to happen to the Spanish Lanuage now? Yesterday an Instructor and I went on and on about San Francisco in Spanish and the other co-worker said ok, english please, I said, do learn the spanish please. :eek:

Lucky you, its very,very cold out here. I have to use a small heater next to me to keep me warm in the office. the students come and go, opening the outside door and office door. I have to run to other building cus its too could outside. I put my feet on top of my little heater to keep them warm. thank god is friday. Maybe snow will come our way, but the city will close up if we get flooded, snow, hard rain,icy rain. :D Nobody knows how to drive in thoes conditions

Well be careful out there. I remember driving through SA one year back in the 80's.....It took us 14 hours to make an 8 hour drive. We took access roads almost all the way to Austin and then some.

My brother lives in Waco, when he drive this way he comes through the country roads, makes a cut through Bastrop and comes out in San Marcos. the other way is cuting off on Bastrop almost going to Houston but yet he makes another cut off and end up 35 South coming to SAT. He hates to hit Austin, their traffic is bad and so is the traffic coming in to SAT during the week-days. I have all store around me, so I don't have to travel to far.
