View Full Version : Ten National Guardsmen arrive in EP

The first small wave of National Guardsmen has arrived in our city. Ten national guardsmen have reported. Although it's a small number, it's expected that 500-1000 of them will eventually arrive in the EP area. They should definitely be a great boost to local EP Economy while at the same time giving much needed help to the border patrol.

lol..super 8 motel is that the one on del rio hwy..and what is going on in piedras negras i heard there have been a couple of killings. One young girl from EP..So will the guardsmen play what role, romance in EP:D

Men always look better in uniform though!! But then when you see them in regular clothes they dont look as interesting!! hahahaha! My husband always looks so handsome when he's dressed to go to work!!

U ladies and guys, if you think they will leave their wives or husbands you are just kidding yourself. Plus they make no money unless they are very high rank. My x-husband is a Captain in National Guard. He put in 20yrs active then got out ant went into the National Guard. This national guards that were put in the Border Towns were reactivated. National Guards are just week-enders. Their pay is not not much, some of them take a big loss every time they are activated. Military men are very PDO.:eek: Energy what fun,travel and adventure. Natioinal Guards/Reserve are week-enders. When reactivated for a few months, or a few years they have to go where ever they get sent. Families stay behind. Boy government is cheap Super * Motel. They usually put in 2 to 3 persons per room. My x-husband got reactivated for a year a few months ago and was sent to Orlando Fl. Hospital. Since he is in the medical field, he is out there patching the soldiers that came back with out limbs. He calls once on a while and says its just sad to see so many young fellows like that.

I wear no bows for my hair is much too short! :D I hate to break this to you but wata is not a word....I just feel sooooooooo bad for you, all that money spent on college courses and not one professor was able to teach you the fundamentals of either English or Spanish. You were robbed, they took your money and didn't teach you a thing about the fundamentals!:eek:

Por Dios Norma Rae, no entiendes what I'm trying to say:confused: You're not supposed to take it personally, you're supposed to understand it. When I say my hair is too short for bows, it means they are going to slide right off so who really cares? What we write is a wonderful way to have fun, kill time and release stress but can't you just slow down when you type so everybody can enjoy your comments. You're right, I am sensitive and to a certain degree so is almost everybody else here. The ones that are might be just a little too proud to admit it. I'm not. I like you, you're entertaining so please keep doing what you're doing.:) It does make my bad days bearable.

Too funny! Every now and then Roseanne surfaces....like when dinner comes out of a can or box or I start in on the princess for something or other. June Cleaver....let's see....I alphabetize everything in my pantry, I tend to get cleaned up before I start cleaning just so I can get messed up again. How messed up is that? To think I used to spend 5 days a week at either Cowboys or Tejano Rodeo and give dance lessons. Te digo....en mi familia soy la chisqueada!:D

No, there isn't anything wrong with being appropriate and proper but Evie is right, I should be able to let my hair down once in a while. I'll find the once (or twice) if someone can provide the "while". Time seems to be the issue here.

No I didn't bring you nada. I just bought some T-shirts or my son and daugther. I stop buying souveniers long time ago. I end up throwing them away, just collecting dust, too much junk. One friend collects liquor shot glasses and she did not go cus "she got married" ha!. so i got her one.
So Sif haven't arrive at EP yet? I have some tickets for this coming Saturday. July 22 for a concert its on a park. Marc Anthony, Laura Pausini and Marco Antonio Solis are coming. My neighbor gave me 12 tickets for free my sister and I, and a coworker are going since three sets are together, Then I gave two other ones that the sets are together to my friend who is married. The other ones the sets are not together but they are on set 612 and on. And since Sif ones ask if anybody was going to the Mexican music concert at Las Vegas, I guess he is not familar that we see them out here often and some times for free. Specialy Marc Anthonly and Marco Antoio Solis for more info go to www.juntosenconcierto.com (http://www.juntosenconcierto.com). Also their is a Festival de Flores coming to Mission Country Park Aug 6 and its free . Who is coming is Ram Herrera, Los Regionales Los Padrinos Los Enmascarados and Los Amables. :cool:

Que mala ni que ocho cuartos. :D When we left McAllen, there was no one happier than me. My sister in law didn't need a sleeping pill, she needed a beating. Gracias a Dios que no vivo en McAllen, si no que friega.

OLA SUSIE Q, THATS WHAT I DID, AL DIABLO TODOS. I LEFT, AND MY BROTHER WAS HEADING TO SAT FROM WACO AND STAY AT MY HOUSE FOR TWO DAYS, THEN HEADING TO NORTH PADRE I. DARN, I WAS SO TIRED, AND I HAVEN'T DONE THAT FOR SO MANY YEARS THAT I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW TIREING THAT IS GOING FROM MALL TO MALL. BUT I TRY TO BE NICE AND KEEP MY COOL. MY SISTER IS LAW IS LOONEY SHE TALKS AND TALKS AND TALKS I FELT LIKE GIVING HER A SLEEPING PILL OR SOMETHING TO KNOCK HER OUT. THEN MY SISTER WHO WAS STAYING AT EP COMING AND ALSO STAYING AT MY HOUSE. SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO STAY WITH ME CAUSE SHE WAS GOING TO LOOK FOR A JOB, CUS EP WAS DEAD. Good morning Irenera! Como amaneciste?
Feeling much better. I can go home after work and rest. Its always good to take one or two days vacation rest after the vacation. but having family at home one can never rest. I am back to my normal routine. My sister that is staying with me she has the round of the house. I gave her my daughter's bedroom upstairs my cat adopted her, so the cat follows her everywhere. :D
Be careful you cat will trade you in for the one who treats him better!!:D

She doesn't have to want to, she is always. She will hit to kill and it didn't hurt her more then us. I could tell you stories, that it will make everybody cry. She was all ways mean, very,very mean. But she is the only mother I have.
WOW I cant believe she could be like that! She was always so nice. But I guess some people mellow out as they get older.

And this has to do with the National Guardsmen how? J/K Norma Rae. I was fortunate to have never suffered that kind of abuse. My mom worked way too hard to have time for abuse. When she did have time for us, she tried to make it memorable. You though, sound like you made out allright and became a very strong person.

Dam and I always thought it was because you all were mean kids. I have to admit I did have some pretty cruel thoughts about you all for leaving her alone all the time. It was just sad to see her walk downtown in the hot sun then walk back when ur sobrino "L" could have easily have given her a ride. He was always there when the check came in.
I don't know what kinda life you all lead, I am just going by what you said but she was never mean to me.
