What forms the a colorful sunset?
COULD IT BE THE MOON BEHIND IT, THAT MAKES THE REFLECTION OF THE SUN RAYS OF COLOR. SUNSET ON THE WEST AND THE MOON HAVEN'T COME OUT ON THE EAST YET. I GUESS SUN & MOON MAKE OUT ON THE WEST BEFORE MOON COMES OUT ON THE EAST, THATS WHY THEY CALL THE MOON IS FOR LOVE. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE "BLUE MOON", ITS OUT OF SIGHT.;)

I love Evie's answer! It is incredible and there should be no other answer!
With that said, why do you make me go back to Mr. Lerma's class?:)
The colors are caused by a scattering of air molecules into blue and violet colors as they reflect the dropping sun. Because of how we perceive color, we see the oranges and the reds at the end of the spectrum. The cleaner the air, the brighter the sunset and the dirtier the air the softer the sunset. This makes desert sunsets and tropical sunsets truly beautiful because there is less pollution, and fall and winter better conductors for prettier sunsets because the air moves more.
I still like Evie's answer!

energy change it to the sunset bar. So what are you laughing about?
The more polluted the air is the more beautiful the sunset. The cleaner the air is the less colors the sunset has.
Who is next?
BUT I THOUGHT YOU ALL ONCE SAID THAT PATTI LA TAMALERA WAS KILL:(
Nope she is very much alive and still making tamales.

Can you tell me why Oktoberfest is held in September? and what is behind this celebration?
Traditionally the festival begins 15 days before the first Sunday in October and ends on that first Sunday. It's been around since the late 1800's. It began as the commemoration of a royal wedding somewhere in Bavaria I think. It was first celebrated with some massive horse race. Anyway, it caught on and there's even an official calendar that says what day it starts every year. In Texas the original Oktoberfest is in Fredericksburg and of course everywhere, the main attraction is food and beer! In Bavaria the foods of choice are spaetzle, sauerkraut, and lots beer. For some beer is a food!:D
A linear park is a park that has a much greater length than width. A typical example of a linear park is a section of a former railway that has been converted into a park (i.e. the tracks removed, vegetation allowed to grow back).

Hey Comadre, aren't you supposed to be studying the history of Spain? :D How is that going?
I finished early this afternoon. I figured what the heck I will make dinner with left over bratwurst I made yesterday. Well, my poor husband was talking his plate to the table and somehow it ended up on the carpet. He was so tired and hungry. I cleaned what I could and we went out to eat. We then went to the store to buy a steamer, we came home and we cleaned it out completely. Now here I am.

I love bratwurst! So where did you end up eating? That's always a good educational trivia question. The PTA had sold pizza dinners and since I don't eat pizza I came home and had oatmeal. Where's the yuck smiley when you need it? I love oatmeal but, for dinner? Flaco and chisquis had pizza. Lucky them. I need a steamer. What brand did you go with? Is it a small one or it full size, clean the whole house kind of steamer? Or is it a rice steamer?:p

I didn't make lunch cause I wanted to finish my homework and my hubby was swamped with work. We figured we could chow down quick and come home.
I bought a small bissell steamer called Little Green. It worked pretty good but, the truth will be seen in the morning. It runs around $68 more or less. I didn't want to buy a big one cause then I have to find room for it.

Funny/ The PTA pizza was from CiCi's. Pepperoni or Cheese. No other choices.
Let me know how it looks later. I really could use a steamer because I am gettin really tired of giving Dalworth my hard earned money every couple of months.
It was a long time since we had gone there and my daughter loves their Alfredo pizza. She doesn't like tomato sauce.
I will let you know about little green tomorrow. It looked like it did the job, but the lighting is not as good as the sunlight.
I own a regular bissell vacuum cleaner and let me tell you that thing works great.

Mine is a Bissell too. I love it b/c you can take it completely apart to clean it and when you reassemble it, it works like new.

Zun. it did a great job. There is no trace of tomato sauce. I would not recommend the small one I bought, if you plan to do the whole house. It is good for a small area but, it would be a back breaker for a large area.
