I think we deff think we need them. i mean people go to Del Rio to watch movies. i was recently in town and the cinema 3 pretty much sucks but i still like it just the way it is. :D

So does anyone know the info? Is the Cinema 3 Closing and they are building a new one at the Mall...

and is the New one over by Veterans Blvd still on the works, or has that been postponed?

Once the one at the mall is finished the old cinema will be closing and plans for the ones on veterens is still on.

I think it is great that EP is getting 2 cinemas. I think pretty much everyone in EP thinks the one they have right now stinks. Come on 3 Cinemas.

Del Rio has that Cimemark Movies 8 and it's pretty good. The prices are really low $2.50. How much are they in EP? And not only do they have a lot of movie theaters they sometimes show up to 10 movies everyday. Acourse some movies are show only in day and others at night but yet it beats the old ones they used to have many years ago just like EP they too once had just 3 movie showings at a time.

I had been in San Antonio for like 5 years and I am a great movie fan, would go to the movies every chance I had. Even to the dollar movies... That was one of my hobbies on my free time. And dang, Cinema 3 with high prices just like San Antonio... big turn down. Maybe if the the place was bigger and a lil cheaper more people would enjoy visiting. That just a thought.. Think like walmart, LOW PRICES, sells more of the stock... Larger quantities at cheaper prices makes it up in no time.... Now thats smart!

there will never be another movie theater like the AZTEC..watered down chili on the dogs(yummy) the best buttered popcorn, maxi the ticket taker, the twin ticket ladies,cactus cooler soda and sugar babies and hot tamales from the candy machine,,,sighs,,, those were the days :(

I'VE HEARD OF 2 PLACES THE THEATER IS GOING TO BE AT..THE MALL AND THE LOOP... WHICH IS IT?

Normaly I go to El Pozo on Thursdays but sometimes I stray over to Sunset or Ritchies located on Jefferson behind Sammy Lerma's Office Supply. I definetly play Dominos learned it from a whole bunch of PR's (Puerto Ricans) while in the Military. Played lots of Darts (Real Darts not Plastic points) while living in Belgium but I just can't hit those triple 20's. Fishing is my sport!

There will be 2 theaters one at the mall and one at the corner of Royal Ridge Drive and Veterans Blvd. How do I know this? There is a big sign posted at both locations.

As for the two Theaters! AWESOME... I havent gone by the mall to see the progress, the one on the Loop seems dead, no activity that I recall... Hasta las weeds estan creciendo... Now where is the boley alley gonna be at?

I know we're getting a ROSS dress for less store... Prolly where Wienners use to be at. I know Factory 2 U is closing. Bueno, tal que no nos quiten la WalMart!

Ah, yeah, it was me, I had gone into your website, and I think I wrote in your guestbook, twice, not sure, unless it was your friend's Michal... Found it quite interesting.. along with the journal. Kinda fun to read on someone else's stuff... kinda makes you feel like you know that person and the drama that follows, so we all know, we are not alone in this world in that situation.

I did get an email from Robert, thinking it was you... But I didnt see it til right after I post the previous comment.
