Cook some ground meat in a skillet, and season it however you want. Then pour on some Chili Quik (amount depends on your tolerance for hot) and a can (or two) of Ranch Style beans. Cook it until the juice is as thick as you want it.
Serve with fresh hot tortillas.
Or eat it with crackers.
Or pour it over Fritos with grated cheese on top.
I use to cook alot, but since Ive stopped I forgot all the recipes I knew off hand... but I guess ill just take it by taste... usually what I cook ends up tasting good.
Ive always wanted to learn how to make Lasagna and stuff like that... mmmm... Maybe alrato!
Take two tortilla de flour sobre el comal...
Meanwhile take some defrosted grill chicken, which you can buy at walmart or HEB, some monterrey jack cheese, and yellow queso... along with some onions, tomate, poco de cilantro, and jalapeno, throw it in your BLEND All machine til they all mixed and grated together... Take your tortilla from the comal, place it on a microwavable plate, pour the ingredients on one tortilla, spread evenly, place other tortilla on top... stick it in microwave for a minute or two to let the cheese melt down... and WALA!.. your own homemade quesadilla!... Optional... sour cream and guacamole. MMM, con una coca or pepsi! HIJO DE SU!!!!
Fettucine Alfredo is easy.
Shopping list:
*Ready to eat shrimp or fresh shrimp
*Fettucine pasta (any brand)
*Ragu Alfredo Sauce or whatever brand
Start boiling the water, if you buy fresh shrimp peel and clean it (very messy). When the fettucine pasta is almost cooked, in a frying pan sauté the shrimp in butter and a tiny bit of oil (just so the butter won't burn)add salt, pepper and powder garlic to taste. When shrimp is cooked add the alfredo sauce to a hot temperature and stir it so it doesn't burn. Drain the fettucine pasta when done and add the sauce and shrimp to the pasta and mix gently or just pour some on top of your pasta plate.
This is very easy and it beats driving all the way to Olive Garden. :)
