 Impressions? More like "Depression"!!! Hey Todd, depends what kind of person u want to meet. If you want to meet a wild teen you go to the clubs across the border, like- Capote, Twister, Sapitos! Now if you want to meet a diviorced female with like 3 kids then you go to the local bars here in Eagle Pass! :P I think you have a better chance meeting someone at a carwash or HEB and Wal Mart! So just hang out there!! lol

What!!!! It wasn't that bad!!!! Also, are you talking about Glorias (as in La Gloria) on El Indio to pick up women?   I hope not, as I know most girls would prefer to drink in a semi-clean,disease free environment!!!

yea , i was (sarcastically) referring to Glorias on El Indio.all the viejias that frequent those hole in the wall joints r there for 2 reasons,, to steal hubbys and their money.
u mean u dont remember parking at the HEB or the carwash(by the lake)?? o damn im showing my age .
and as far as Impressions goes ,yea its been closed down. i rarely went there.. but the times i did..all the women there looked like Glorias material.. all single and ready to jump any mans bones,, accompanied or not. i was like :o . i never let my hubby loose the whole time we were there. how times change,, i member the Holiday Lounge yrs,, thats when the crowds kicked it. it was all known peeps that hung around there.
the top hang-out places in EP are,, Walmart, HEB and Charcoal.

What happened to Impressions? I haven't been down to Eagle Pass in a while. I can also remember back when it was the Holiday Lounge and later changed to Impressions. I'm surprised to here that they are closed. What about the Club 2000? Is that still open?

[B]Well the hangout places in Eagle Pass? What can I say, Ive heard Club 2000 is pretty well ok, but then again I heard Wagon Wheel was better, thats if your into ur regular tejano and cumbia music which I dont mind, but if your like me from a big city like San Antonio, you are more into Dance/Club music, then my suggestion would be Capote or that new club Azul where Zazarak use to be... but then again thats for lil kids 15 thru 18 and if ur lucky u may find a 21 year old.
And for those boys and girls that want to experiment with same sex experimenting then you should try Ibiza Disco, its very Gay Friendly, young and old. No worries about fights or shootings. Lots of club music... oh by the way, Very Straight friendly, YOu will be amazed of how many boys from EAGLE PASS are there, just like in San Antonio's The Saint (gay Club) bunch of those straight boys wanna be show up at the gay clubs, kissing and hugging and holding other men... MAN!!! but Ibiza is cool... yall should check it out... I would suggest you be 18 yrs of age atleast to go there, we wouldnt want to pervert ur lil dirty minds!
Enjoy!

<span style='color:orange'>BLUEY,, R U CURRENTLY RESIDING IN EP? I SWEAR U SOUND LIKE UR FROM MY ERA  SEND ME A PRIVATE MSG AND TELL ME UR AGE BRACKET. </span>
Well my name is RENE... lol and I dont know if I have met anyone from here yet... but I have talked to a few. U may know me if you go to the salon in piedras or here at ABFAB on Buenavista Rd, off of Memo Robinson Blvd, en las Brisas. Or if any of you goes to Ibiza in Piedras.
What is the best night club in EP that you can just show up and dance? I have my partner but, I am putting it in the singles category because I figure you would know best?
Mena right now there are only 2 night clubs in EP. Club 2000 and Wagon Wheel. They have a small dance floor and you can dance at your own free will. Aside from those two there are just the rinky dinky bars which I don't think you would like to go to. Take your pick. LOL
Where is this Wagon Wheel? I've seen the other one but, have never gone. Is the dance floor bigger than the one at old "Impressions"? I use to go there when it was the "in" place.
Wagon Wheel is located past the Club 2000, past the Peter Rabbit. Alittle further down you will see it on the left hand side. It used to sell BBQ sandwiches and stuff but they made it into a bar with a "small" dance floor. Alot smaller than the old Impressions one. I like it better than Club 2000. The ambiance is different, it's more of a sit, drink and chat kinda place. Not alot of dancing going on but you can if you want. Club 2000 has more dancers. B)
I guess I will visit Club 2000. I rather dance than talk. Thanks for the info Evie. :)
Oh, one more thing..what kind of music and what is the dress code?
BlueCollar

There is no dress code and the music ok. They play some Tejano but mostly its Norteno and international.
Is there a night club that plays mostly Tejano and or country music? I am not into the norteno stuff.

Oooops! forgot that. They also play Country at the 2k. I'm with you on Norteno music. Sadly, theres no other place here in town that plays all Tejano and Country.
If you're ever in San Antonio, stop by Grahams Central Station, on Fredricksburg, They play good Tejano music. The nice stuff, thats fun to dance to.

Mena ,,try hanging out at a club in Piedras. I dont think they r all too bad, they place decent music in most. But u do have to watch out for the under age drinkers.. they are annoying when they're drunk.
Thanks E4ever for the info. I just rather stay on this side. I don't like to drive in Mexico.
"watch out for the under age drinkers.. they are annoying when they're drunk". Ha,ha..even the legal age drunks are annoying.

You see this is exactly what I mean about Eagle Pass needing a place for people to chat and meet. Whether it's for business and pleasure Eagle Pass needs a Starbuck's. Has anyone heard an update over whether they are going build one? It is so very desperately needed. According to my survey launched here on EPonline, "What's Your Poison?", more people answered that coffee was their poison. Even more than beer! Boy, that's very hard to believe!
Well, does anyone have an update? Have they announced it on the radio anymore? Eagle Passans need to be more aggressive if they want to make their town a little more classier. For example, if you want the radio station to know that you want a Starbuck's in Eagle Pass you need to express that interest to them because sometimes companies will hire radio stations to market themselves. If no one calls the radio station then no one is interested. Make your voice be heard!!

HEY COOL DUDE,
Tell us the truth. WHAT IS THIS YOU HAVE WITH/FOR STARBUCKS? I mean, be fair. Why dude? Why? And by the way, wasn't there another coffee company that started a coffee house similar to the STARBUCKS business. The coffee that advertises with a Latin dude wearing a big SOMBRERO in the hills of Peru or Columbia in South America?????
Now, Don't get me wrong. I love Austin. Austin is the only othe City I would go live in TEXAS. Love it. And STARBUCKS in Austin are almost in every corner. But in Eagle Pass? Dude? OH! Hey this Bud's for you. lololol
Really what I was going to tell you is to pass the word. Summer is upon us and the ladies have to get a new bathing suit. We will be going swimming on the Rio Grande this summer. Check this out. One the most beautiful rivers in our backyard and we don't go swimming????dude! I know I did...when I was a little kid. The water was a bit dirty but......And then a group of us during our high school days, took a boat in the middle of the night and traveled on it from around Hopedale or the south end of Quemada all the way down to the old bridge.
Oh well, back to the bathing suits....
here is what I was going to tell you.....
www.VictoriasSecret.com
Get your clothing now ladies......We promise to just look. There will be no touching. Unless you want to be touched. Ha,ha......
Guys? You can wear some old cut offs. ha,ha,ha,
Back to the middle of the night boat trip down the Rio Grande....We had tons of beer....like kids used to do in those days....they don't do that anymore.....but it was interesting that we consumed so much beer and nobody had to ever go pea.....huh...we were floating down the river...huh ...in the middle of the night...maybe more like 02:00A.M. and ...huh...we were actually all wet....and some of us jumped in and out of the water...huh...and nobody had to go pea....huh.....
oh well.....hope to see all you guys in the river.....You only live once....it be foolish to waste your life away and not swim in the Rio Grande.... So go jump in the river!
