I love my hometown as well... No matter where I go to, I always end up coming back... Its like "This used to be my Playground" by Madonna. All my childhood memories are here and in Piedras Negras where I was raised for the first few yrs of my life...

I guess there will be more to look forward to as time passes.

Earlier today, I was asking this girl up in washington state, a mexicana who has this website called Latina: My Pleasures Body Shop which is airbrushing, I asked her, What song she likes by Juan Gabriel and she goes Juan Who? never heard of him.. and im like MIJA!??? Juan Gabriel???? is like Orgullo Mexicano... I was surprised.. she's like in her mid 40's and dont know who Juan Gabriel is... I was surprised being that she lived in LA for a long time... and had no idea who he was!

I remember Mundens..... those were the days..... I also remember going to watch the Primier OF SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER with my parents at the Aztec Theater as a child.. awhile later my parents hurriedly left the theater as ummm the big screeen was filled with some nudity and sexual acts... :lol: WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!! :o

I currently live in Edinburg Texas. This town feels alot like EP, the only thing diffrent is that we have all the comforts of a large town. That's probably why I enjoy living here feels like home. The hispanic population here is about 90%.

ANYHOW....... Remember KRESS? I loved going to Kress as well. I remember they used to have a basement and thats where all the toys were at. How about WINNS the smell of popcorn as you walked in the door... :P MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM the COKE ICEE double :P MMMMMMMM and the ice-creams MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
