Who do you think is the richest person in EP? I've always thought that the Jasso attorney had a whole bunch of money. The thief ***Name Removed*** also has a bunch of money that he stole from the water company. Fito Barrerra has a lot, and so does Claudio Heredia.

Good Question Eldude. There are also a few attorney's who've made boo-koo money on behalf of clients suing every chance they get. The current major must have some ducks he owns Foster Realty. Then there is the county judge Pepe he seems to have real estate here and there. Don't forget those Quacks (doctors) who love to milk medicaid patients. Dr. De Los Santos was one of them until he got caught and deported back to his homeland.

There's a ton of people with money in the community. A lot of the people who are rich have done so illegally(corruption, drug running. But there is a fair share of professionals in EP who have made their money the legal and hard way(Doctors, lawyers,etc...0

Why did they move? They use to buy most of the livestock at the stockshows.
I heard eagle4ever came into some big bucks$$$$ and bought all their land. So now she is the richest person in EP.

Due to Business, They moved to Corpus Christi and they donated some land that belonged to them to EPISD to which EPISD dedicated CC WINN HIGH School in their honor. (And I’m assuming for tax reasons)
Do you guys remember their son (who did a sex change to female) whom was sued by fiancée because the son now daughter never told the guy in the beginning he used to be a boy. And they also had another daughter whom perished in EP (I think) in a plane crash (the Winn’s had their own air landing strip)

I remember seeing her once. She was very pretty--thin, long blonde hair, and a bad ass car.

You seem to know alot about the Winn's. So who is C.C. Winn and who is Patsy "Sissy" Winn, whom which the Junior college is named after?

C.C. Winn was local oilman who used to own a bunch land in Maverick County. He used to own the land where the old airport was and the CC Winn High School-College area. He donated all the land to EP, which has been very beneficial for the community. Patsy Winn was his daughter who died in a plane crash on the hill where the Junior College is.

It's unfortunate the way the Winns left EP. For those that don't know, one of the Winns' kids is a transvesdike, I think it was Tom, who chose to be a woman. It was said that he dated a man, and deep into the relationship, the guy found out that his girlfriend was a man and freaked out. This same story was then reported in the Eagle Pass News Guide, causing great embarassment to the Winns. They left shortly after being stabbed in the back by the News Guide.

Whatever the case may be, it is sad they left. I do agree they did alot for the community.

My mother in law worked with the Winn family.They were very good to her they wanted to take her with them to corpus but my mother in law kindly declined.
They were very good people. But, I know they did not leave beacuse of mentions of the Eagle Pass news guide, that would be so unlike Mr. Winn.
