Thanks Mena and Zune for your concern, we rode out the storm in San Antonio. Came back on Sunday and it took us a while to get into the neighborhood there was a lot of flooded streets. I cant believe a hurricane hit here, we always seemed to get lucky, but I guess it was bound to happen. We were lucky, our house didnt sustain a whole lot of damage, just fence damage and the gutters flew off, my sister has two tall pine trees that got ripped out, we got water and power back yesterday, I know a lot of other people are not as fortunate so I thank God for that, it is hell not having water or power and the supplies that we stocked up on are running low. The lines at the grocery store and gas stations are something out of a war movie. Eventually I'll have to get in that line .Well be ok though we didnt loose anyone, we are all healthy and everyday life slowly goes back to normal.

I thank God you are well. The devastation I've seen on the news is so sad. What's harder is that I can't be out helping/volunteering as I wish I could. Again, I am thankful you are well. Take care and be safe.

So yesterday after I got out of work, I rushed to HEB so that I could go home and make dinner, gosh they had almost nothing to choose from. Nothing that needs refrigeration. And to top it off, they close at 6pm.

Over 50 across eleven states that are accounted for. They don't know if there are any that were washed out to sea.
