I realized when I reread this today that it sounded like kids here do not booze or do idiotic things...so not true! They do them. But I think what makes the difference is that kids here do not leave home when they are 18 because if they go to the university, universities here don't have dorms. So if they come from another place they usually stay in boarding houses. It is still customary for girls to stay in boarding houses for girls, sometimes run by nuns.
So most of the crazy stuff is on the week end. The other thing being that most kids don't have a car so if they go somewhere it's usually by bus.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak, and pray for strength to carry on.
