Thats all right, thats one thing I didn't understand on the military books. I told my husband some of the info is very old and they are too lazy to up date. remember the movie "the day after" very old movie I use to have it but was loan out and never got return with the other movie Like water like chocolate was on tape like yrs ago. The day after shows how every thing is blown out, and thoes who live suffer with burns and infection, no food or water. They couldn't get help cus the area was continemated.
On the military book it says, don't get inside buildings, its better to fine a ditch in the ground and cover your self. So in other words we all be looking for a ditch or hold on the ground that make no sence. Bunkers they use to build them with a pipe going up for air. We use to play at the Bunkers when we kids in Labuck Tex, all that area have bunkers cus its a toranado area. And yes ground zero, but they build ground zero for the gov. prez and etc.
No, ground Zero is the point of first impact. The prez and other such people have a special underground bunker. But who are they going to govern?

They govern the rest of USA that didn't get hit. After 7/11 all military base were on close gate. Everytime I would go to Lackland base or Ft Sam we will get inspected three times. Gets us out the car search all the car and put the dogs on us and inside the car. There were about 5 military bases out here. So I stop going to the BX. One evening I was coming out Ft Sam and I didn't know they were going to have a training. Airplanes flying and helicopers, they were jumping with parachue than alot of firing inside buildings. I got the hell out. Que BX ni que nada now its HEB or Walmart.

Yeah, except, most scientists agree that one hemisphere would die in the first six monthas and the other would die in the next six months. Even if you were in an underground bunker, when you came out a few months later, you would not be able to cultivate the soil for decades.

The best place to be during a nuclear attack is out in the open that way you get evaporated immediately and won't feel too much pain. Those that survive will surely suffer from the collateral effects.

YOU HAVE A GOOD POINT. THEY SAY WHEN A TORANDO HITS, GET INSIDE A CLOSET OR BATHROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. OUT OF THE BLUES WE GOT HIT AND WE DIDN KNOW WHAT IT WAS. IT SOUNDED LIKE A RAN AWAY TRAIN MY SON RAN DOWN STARS WE GOT INSIDE THE DOWNSTAIRS BATH ROOM. WE FORGOT THAT THE BATHROOM HAD A SKY LIGHT

By the way those of you that live in San Antonio, it's a prime target for a nuclear round due to the large military comunity in your area.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE WENT THROUGH DURING 1990'S DURING A WAR AND 9/11. THEY WILL CALL HUSBAND ON ALTERS ALL THE TIME. HE HAD TO LEAVE WORK AND BE READY WITH ALL THIS GEAR REPORT TO MILITARY DUITY. DURING 9/11 PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT HAD TO GO THROUGH TRAINING. I WORK AT A COLLEGE THEY HAD US GOING OUT THE SCHOOLS. MY DAUGHTER IS AN RN WORKING AT A HOSPITAL, THEIR TRAINING WAS VERY INTENSE. SINCE THEY ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE TO CARE FOR THE PEOPLE. IN OTHER WORDS YOU CAN NOT GO HOME AND ATTEND TO YOUR FAMILY. THE MILITARY JETS FROM LACKLAND YOU CAN SEE THEM OUT ALOT. CONVOY OF MILITARY TRUCKS AND MUMBES ALL OVER THE PLACE. I CAN JUST IMAGAIN IF SOMETHING REALLY HAPPENS.
