Sorry you had a painful holiday.
We went to disney during February when my oldest was young. The water was too cold to swim in but, the park was not packed because school was in session.

My trip was to Vegas. Flights always coming and going from here. It was a last minute decision that friends came up with. We were able to get Circus Circus by making direct reservations. Since I being there alot of times and one was on Feb my birthday and it wasn't cold only sweater cool in the evening we thought it wouldn't be that cold. We got fool by mother nature. We use to go to Disney on 4th of July for 5yrs spent 8 days every time. It was fun, but we use to do one day park, and the other day water park, the other day Park and the following day water park. That was the only way we could do it. Just doing Parks everyday would kills us. The lines were long for the rides, was hot, and I was always looking forward the rain. Everyday around 4pm it rains, refreshing.. The water parks was more relaxing and we were able to rest for the following day. I don't think I can do Disney anymore. If I go it would be just as nana. The baby sitter. Got to go now, right now I am playing midwife. My toy chihuahua dog is having puppies. I already deliver one. I google it last night and it tells you how to help. I even went and bought a digital beeper Thermometer to check his temperature. If his temperature is lower than 100 than she will go on labor in 8 to 24 hrs. Last night was 97 and after 10pm before bed time I check it again and it was 95. The pup was coming rear legs first so I did what the it said. When the mama have a contraction and is pushing get the pup and kind of twist it a little and sure enough it works. Thank God for technology. So in other words, there is no reason why a person can't deliver her own baby unless it/she have complectons. I think every PG woman should take a look at all information just incase she fine herself unable to get help on time. |

Hope you had fun in Vegas.
As for Disney, there is no way I would want to go that often and for that long. I don't really like to see the same places twice. We might do it so the rest of my kids can see it but, to me it is just like going to the zoo. You see the same thing over and over just a different zoo. Now camping or something like that then cool. Congrats on the mama dog. We adopted a regular chihuahua from the SPCA in SA. He is a sweet dog. He was only like 3 weeks old when we adopted him and he was neutured already.

Vegas was ok, I did not have fun this time. It was too cold. Hard to be up and around, when its a place that one do alot of walking. The airport lines and security was horrible. We did Disney that way cus its alot to see. I don't think we saw a park twice maybe one or two. Sometimes we stay at a hotel by the beach. So that was fun, other times we stay inside the park or take the Disney Cruise Ship. On the way back will stop at Pensacola and spent a day or two. Other times we stop at New Orleans but I didn't like it. It was all rated XXX on TV games and Bourbon St. The only thing I like in New Orleans was the boat that takes you all the Mississippi River. We took the evening one with dinner and life music. You can see the sun set by the river and the city lights. Drinking a frozen margarita. I haven't seen Fiesta Texas nor Sea World, and its here. We did the camping thing also until the kids were 12yrs old. We use to have a big tent with two rooms. We stop cus the kids wanted their water bed, air condition and etc. That's when we went into condos. My daughter husband was brought up camping and fishing. So they bought a pup up trailer and they camp and fish every time they have a chance. I delivered two puppies. I am going to get her spay as soon as I can. |

I've never been to Vegas. I don't like to gamble so it hasn't gotten my attention but, my hubby says there is more than just gambling. I might go some day cause he keeps asking me to check it out. It is not on the top of my list, yet.
Pensacola is nice. I've been there a couple of times. We ones missed the hurricane by a couple of weeks. I know what boat you are talking about. How about that bridge that feels like you are riding a horse? We stopped at a gas station there and I could not understand their accent to save my life. I kept asking what, what then I just said sorry mister I can't understand, waved and left. Sea World and Fiesta Texas have their ups downs. I think Fiesta Texas has more to do but, it is farther from where we live. We had a pop up but, we sold it to buy a travel trailer. We just have a bad habit of stopping when we'd get tired and we hated having to set up the camper. We eventually sold that one too, cause we out grew it. Well the kids grew and their feet started to hang over the seat. Tell your daughter to check out Ouachita state park in Arkansas. You wouldn't think but, it is breath taking. They need to reserve early though cause the waiting list can get pretty long. The lake water is really clear and the pine trees gorgeous. Wifi or cell phone service is difficult but, who needs that when you are camping. Oh, and the way into the park is pretty steep. So what are you going to do with the pups? How many did she have after all?

Here is the link to the park.
http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/lakeouachita/ We did the 4 mile hike with the kids youngest was four, I wouldn't take the baby. For that matter I wouldn't of taken the youngest but, she is a tough cookie and completed the trail too. She did need to be carried at times cause she was really tired. If they go they need to take minimum of two bottles per person cause their is nothing on the trail (couple of benches and a great deck in the middle of the trail). It is very worth the hike.

You need to go to Vegas, you will enjoy it. I don't gamble much. Most of the time we walk the strip going to all the hotels. Some shows are included with your ticket, others shows they give you 50% off. Some of the tickets include breakfast for two. The hotels are breath taking. It takes one day to walk only one side of the strip. We use to get the bus coming back to the hotel. The next day we would do the other side of the strip, and take the bus back to the hotel. The other day we would do down town. Believe me you don't have to gamble at all to have fun. There is a tour bus that takes you to the dam, and you can do some hiking. Take your husband advise, and go. I can assure you,you will not be sorry. Just take some good walking shoes. My neighbor and other friends always inviting me to go on this short trips they have here, its a bus that takes you for the week-end gambling at Louisiana and back the following day. Almost like the one that goes to EP. Sorry its not for me. The bridge you talk about, I just about pee on my pants the first time so was the tunnel. We use to take turns my husband and I driving. So I end up being the driver on the bridge and the tunnel. The caught me by surprise. I grab the wheel like my life was depending on it and was screaming all the way until I was out the tunnel. I exist where I could and I threw up. My husband and daughter were white as a sheet. but after a few minutes we all started laughing. When I end up on the bridge my daughter was videoing it and I told them open all the windows just in case we go down. We had bought a brand new Conversion Van for our road trips. Three seats, high stop. We load it with an ice chest, pillows and blankets since the back seat turn into a bed and the passenger could walk to the back and take a nap. We record allot of the music on tapes. This was our first trip on that van. We never turn the radio on since we had our music. Guess what happen? As we were entering Pensacola I was seeing all the traffic going the opposite direction. Cars, trucks, trucks with boats and etc. It look kind of strange to me. I told my husband to stop at a resting area. When we did, I saw this kids pushing a button on the wall of the building and it was a radio. I stop and listen to it. A hurricane was going to hit head on at Pensacola. We didn't know what to do. I told my husband we have to keep on driving and fine a hotel. We drove and drove and will get down to all the little towns on the side. No vacancies at all., by 6pm it was getting dark started raining and wind blowing that it will move van side ways. We went down to another little town, all hotels had no vacancies, we knock on the hotel window the lady told us that there was one room but it did not had air condition. Believe, something was better than nothing. The first thing we did is turn on the TV. My God, it was coming in. We did not sleep. By 5am, the hurricane was not in yet, so I told my husband lets go, and keep on driving and leave the hurricane behind us. We made it out. We decided to come back two days early, just in case we had to do a detour. Driving back, we could see the small towns, water up to their roof. But we went back the following year, and on and on. I enjoy road trips, than flying one can take their sweet time, stop when ever you want, go sight seeing and etc.The park you talk about sounds like fun. About three years ago I did a road trip with a class mate to Tuson Az. We had alot of fun, we almost ran out of gas. Its a long strach before you get to a down. My dog had two puppies, one femal that looks like the mother. The mother looks like the chihuahua dog, Chole the femal dog that came out on the movie about dogs. The second puppy is a male, that looks like the father. The father looks like the chihuahua that comes out on Yo quero taco bell. They are both toy chihuahua, small. This dogs can not have too many puppies, She is too small. She can not have only one cus than it will grow to big and she would not be able to have it. I don't know what I am going to do with them. I am afraid I will not let them go. They are so quite. |
